I have experienced firsthand the joys and challenges of relocating on my own from the United States and beginning a new chapter of life in Portugal. As the director of a school for over twenty years in the US, I am familiar with the needs of families, the importance of schools, communities and outdoor space. Running a school, I had to develop skills in problem solving, recognize and strive to meet each family’s unique needs and maintain the commitment and focus to see a project through from idea to completion.
